Port Arthur Historic Site lift
25 August 2017
On a chilly but stunning winter morning at the Port Arthur Historic Site we were tasked with taking over to the Isle of the Dead (the resting place for many of the convicts and officers who called the site home) construction materials, gravel and a loo. All this equipment and supplies is being used for a new walkway around the perimeter of the island helping to create an improved visitor experience while out there on a tour.
The morning light made for some great photos of our AS350 Squirrel against the backdrop of the Port Arthur Penitentiary building and the still conditions meant pilot, Jason flew the equipment across without a hiccup.
